GTech is an indie hip-hop Artist. His style of music is meshed with modern rap with a mix of trap, and old school boombap. GTech is a songwriter, engineer, and video editor. As an indie Artist, GTech takes pride in being involved in all sides of production. From producing, to mixing/mastering, song writing, and editing all his photos and videos himself. GTech started writing lyrics at the age of 10 years old, and has been performing in front of crowds since 11. His first performance was performing “Lose Yourself” by Eminem at a banquet hall.

Majority of his childhood, he grew up in Scarborough, Toronto. Then in 2007, his dad decided to move him to Brampton. In high-school of grade 10, one of his friends gave him a computer mic, and since then he started to record actual songs on hip-hop beats, and on recording software, Audacity. In 2009, GTech released his debut mixtape, “Scarcityboy: The Mixtape.” It was available for digital download, and he made physical copies which garnered attention around his local high-school, and around Toronto.

GTech’s brand and intentions are to inspire and help like-minded individuals from his own experiences. GTech continues to aim in offering guidance, leadership and to share his knowledge to other similar Artists.
